Swedish Massage

Using Swedish Massage techniques, this refreshing massage relieves stress and tension aches for pure relaxation. Light to medium pressure is applied in long, even strokes.

Swedish massage has been shown to improve function in people with osteoarthritis over an 8-week period.

Aromatherapy

Aromatherapy is the combination of massage with essential oils extracted from various plants for the purpose of altering mind, mood, or health. Essential oils are highly concentrated plant extracts derived from leaves, bark, roots and flowers.

Bamboo Massage

Bamboo Fusion® uses heat and bamboo tools in varying shapes and sizes to apply massage to the muscles body.

Warm bamboo massage is an amazing technique that can be experiences as a luxurious Swedish style spa treatment or for deep tissue massage. The gentle heat from the bamboo increases circulation and softens muscle tissue and fascial restrictions.

Couples Massage

Experience a relaxing massage with your spouse, partner or friend. The two of you will receive treatments side by side in a calming, peaceful environment. Couples Massage is offered at the Downtown Branch only. Please call 314-312-6223 to schedule.

Deep Tissue Massage

Deeper layers of muscle are addressed through the use of specialized techniques. Any chronic issues (trigger points, knots, etc.) will be the focus of this session.

Medical Massage

Individually designed with a primary focus of pain alleviation in mind.  This treatment is often done in a shorter period of time over the course of several consecutive weeks to help with rehabilitation time and eliminate problems.

This two-hour treatment is a combination of the ancient Balinese and Javanese massage art forms. Acupressure, reflexology, and soothing aromatherapy oils are used with complete and total mental and muscular relaxation in mind.  Warm stones are used with uninterrupted and continuous effleurage is used to make muscles feel as fluid as the sea.

Finishing up is a lavishing scalp oil treatment with rosemary, lavender, and chamomile due to their long-lasting soothing properties.

Sports Massage

Whether it’s before an event (run, game, match, etc.), post-event, or for general maintenance, this massage focuses on the needs of the athlete. Often this session is beneficial in maintaining the structural integrity of the athletic physique as it applies to the sport / activity. (For runners, this might include focus on the low back, hip flexors, and balance.) Range of motion, pliability and balance are often assessed and worked into a wellness plan.
